Takumi Kitamura

Takumi Kitamura is a Japanese actor and singer who has also performed voice roles in several notable anime films. Born in Tokyo on November 3, 1997, he began his entertainment career as a child actor and is affiliated with the agency Stardust Promotion. In addition to his acting work, he is the lead vocalist and guitarist for the dance rock band Dish.

Kitamura's voice acting credits include leading roles in a series of animated films released in 2019 and 2022. He voiced the protagonist, high school student Naomi Katagaki, in the 2019 science fiction romance film Hello World. That same year, he also provided the voice for the lead character Mamoru Suzuhara in the animated film Seven Days War. In 2022, he voiced the character Rion in the fantasy film Lonely Castle in the Mirror.

While these performances demonstrate his involvement in the anime industry, voice acting is one facet of his broader career. Kitamura has received recognition for his live-action performances, winning the Newcomer of the Year award at the 41st Japan Academy Film Prize and several other best newcomer awards for his role in the 2017 film Let Me Eat Your Pancreas. He is also widely known for his leading role as Takemichi Hanagaki in the live-action Tokyo Revengers film series.
