Description
Dorothy, a powerful magician residing in a mountain castle, mentors her student Shiine. Born into wealth with a sibling named Doris, she formed a close childhood bond with Seravy, even promising to marry him despite Doris' objections. Envy grew within her as Seravy effortlessly surpassed her magical skills. This rivalry peaked when she briefly became the world's greatest magician by defeating Piikapon, only to lose the title moments later when Seravy accidentally struck her with a conjured bouquet during his congratulations. Humiliated by this and his refusal to duel her seriously, she permanently dyed her naturally blonde hair a vibrant red in retaliation.
Her ambition drove her to seek apprenticeship under Tono, the then-greatest magician. She ran away with riches as an offering, but Tono deceived her, subjecting her to experimental hair regrowth treatments. Concerned for her safety, Seravy pursued her with help from Chacha, Riiya, and Shiine, who traveled back in time using magical slippers. Their intervention exposed Tono's deceit and rescued her. Dorothy later adopted Shiine as her student after his father, Access, entrusted him to her care.
Dorothy possesses a fierce temper, pride in her magic, and a competitive streak, particularly towards Seravy. Insults about her appearance provoke intense reactions. Despite this volatility, she demonstrates genuine care for Shiine. She occasionally collaborates with Seravy on disguises, though their effectiveness varies. A sentient doll named Elizabeth, modeled after her childhood self and voiced by Seravy through ventriloquism, frequently mocks Dorothy's appearance, temper, and demands on Shiine, fueling their dynamic.
Dorothy's role expanded significantly during the conflict against Daimaō. Initially corrupted by one of Daimaō's magic mirrors, she appeared as an episodic antagonist. She later joined the protagonists as one of the Eight Holy Warriors of Love, Courage, and Hope. This group, comprising Chacha, Riiya, Shiine, Seravy, Yakko, Marin, and Orin, united to storm Daimaō's castle and defeat him.
Her relationship with Seravy evolved from rivalry and unresolved childhood feelings to mutual respect and romantic commitment. They reconciled, became engaged, married, and had twins named Yuurin and Riran.
