OVA
Description
Keima Katsuragi, a second-year student at Maijima Private High School, possesses legendary prowess in conquering galge heroines, self-styling as the "God of Conquest." He openly dismisses "3D girls" in favor of virtual pursuits, maintaining a detached reality. His brown hair, glasses, and ever-present handheld PFP gaming device define his appearance, along with a purple guillotine collar visible only to contracted parties—a mark of his binding pact with Hell. Academically gifted, he secures top scores by applying game-conquest strategies during class.

After accepting a disguised email challenge, he partners with the demon Elsie to capture "Loose Souls"—runaway spirits inhabiting girls and feeding on negative emotions. Failure risks beheading via his contract collar. Keima adapts galge tactics to real-world targets, meticulously planning scenarios and adjusting his personality to fill emotional voids where spirits hide, enabling capture. Early conquests like athlete Ayumi Takahara and idol Kanon Nakagawa undergo memory erasure by Hell post-mission.

His methods evolve during the "Goddesses" arc when six Jupiter Sisters reside within prior targets. Reconquering these girls awakens goddesses while evading Vintage demons, complicating missions. Unlike others, goddess hosts Kanon Nakagawa (Apollo) and Tenri Ayukawa (Diana) retain memories of their bonds with Keima. After Vintage mortally wounds Kanon, he identifies all hosts: Shiori Shiomiya (Minerva), Kusunoki Kasuga (Mars), Jun Nagase (Juno), and Ayumi Takahara (Mercurius). His emotional investment deepens, particularly when rejecting Chihiro Kosaka's genuine feelings—an act causing visible distress and shifting his perspective on reality.

In the spin-off *Magical Star Kanon 100%*, Keima plays a peripheral role. When a spirit transforms Kanon into child "Maron," Elsie requests aid. He initially refuses, citing gaming commitments, but later provides indirect tactical advice. His guidance helps Kanon harness her idol singing to confront the spirit and restore her form, underscoring his preference for virtual challenges over real-world intervention.

Physically average due to a sedentary lifestyle, Keima displays unexpected endurance against attacks. He excels in rapid problem-solving and multitasking, often juggling multiple games. Key weaknesses include difficulty with "ordinary" girls lacking defined traits, illogical daydreamers, and aggressively affectionate targets. His evolution from cold pragmatism to acknowledging emotional bonds culminates in a tearful apology to Chihiro and a later confession of genuine feelings. Post-contract, he balances gaming passions with everyday life, accepting both virtual and real worlds.
