Description
Guriguri is a young member of the endangered Long-Ears race, recognized by her rabbit-like ears and innate magical abilities. She is the granddaughter of the witch V-Mei. Together, they meet the human protagonist Daichi during his visit to the moon. They fight against the evil Jadou Clan, which threatens their homeland Rabiluna and later Earth.
She serves as a magical assistant and guide to the three Madou Warriors—Daichi, Gus, and Rabi—on their journey across Rabiluna. Guriguri demonstrates teleportation abilities and participates in rituals summoning elemental Madou Kings like Granzort, Winzart, and Aquabeat. Her energetic and cheerful nature often bolsters the group during battles against Jadou Empire forces.
In "The Final Magical Battle" OVA, set after the main series, Guriguri undergoes increased peril as the Jadou Clan launches a renewed assault on Rabiluna. After the Jadou Empire captures V-Mei and Sayuri (Rabi's mother), she escapes with Rabi. They regroup with Daichi and Gus to continue the fight, summoning the Madou Kings again. During this conflict, Guriguri encounters a mysterious girl who unveils the deeper history behind the magical war between the Long-Ears and the Jadou Clan, enriching Guriguri's understanding of her people's legacy and the struggle.
Her development across the series and OVAs showcases her increasing resilience and dedication to protecting her homeland and allies. Though initially supportive, her critical actions—evading capture and aiding in strategic battles—emphasize her importance to resisting the Jadou Clan's tyranny. Her Long-Ear heritage intrinsically ties her to the narrative's central lore and conflict.
