Description
Takeshi accompanies the main protagonist on their journey to New Island. He prepares meals for the group, including lunch consumed before Mewtwo's invitation arrives. He frequently becomes enamored with female characters, such as the holographic woman delivering the invitation and fellow trainer Neesha at New Island's castle, needing his companion to refocus his attention. Takeshi proves observant about medical professionals, identifying the hologram attendant as the missing Nurse Joy from Old Shore Wharf despite initial skepticism; Mewtwo later confirms this by releasing Nurse Joy from psychic control. During the storm at Old Shore Wharf, he stays with the group seeking transport to New Island and boards Team Rocket's disguised vessel. His Pokémon team features Vulpix, which battles Mewtwo's cloned Pokémon. Mewtwo confiscates Vulpix for cloning along with the other challengers' Pokémon. Takeshi carries Pokémon, including Vulpix and others not explicitly named, in standard Poké Balls. After the climactic events, he returns to Old Shore Wharf with the group, his memory of the incident erased by Mewtwo.
