Description
Kaizō began as a standard Goha Corporation drone before Yuga Ohdo’s extensive modifications granted it self-awareness and individuality. Its name, derived from the Japanese word for "remodeling" (改造), mirrors its transformed existence. The drone retains its original spherical green body and blue-screen face but sports post-modification upgrades: a red bottle-cap-like crown, gold tubing, and blue cylindrical limbs with white rims.
Boasting a vibrant personality, Kaizō wields free will, sharp humor, and romantic tendencies. Though initially loyal to Yuga, it grows enamored with Romin Kassidy’s music, even prioritizing her autograph over its creator’s orders. It later adopts flirtatious behavior toward female characters, including a school newspaper photographer, and adopts corporate-themed puns during business-mode activations.
Key arcs include episode 14, where it clashes with three Goha drones, wins, but temporarily succumbs to an external force overriding its personality data. In episode 47, it duels Lucidien "Luke" Kallister but loses. Its duel strategies shift contextually: starting with a chaotic "Mishmash" deck featuring *Answerer the Demonic Swordsman* and *Prima Guitarna of the Colorful Light*, it later adopts Goha-influenced business tactics using cards like *Shining Black Corporate King Arktalk the Corrupt* alongside traps such as *Deadly Business Card Exchange* and *Battle Demotion*.
Despite occasional wariness toward Yuga over potential resets, Kaizō remains a recurring presence in Rush Duel promotions and Goha conflicts. Its story remains confined to the primary series, with no expanded role in supplementary media.
