Jake Paque
Description
Jake Paque is an American voice actor known for his work in English dubs of anime series, with a particular prominence in the Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! franchises. He is affiliated with the New York-based voice acting and production company NYAV Post. Paque began his voice acting career as an adult, often taking on minor roles in English-dubbed versions of international shows. His entry into the Pokémon anime came with the film Genesect and the Legend Awakened, in which he voiced the character Eric. He formally joined the cast of the television series at the start of Pokémon the Series: XY.
Paque's most prominent and recurring role within the Pokémon franchise is that of Professor Sycamore, the Pokémon Professor of the Kalos region, whom he voiced in Pokémon the Series: XY, XY Kalos Quest, and XYZ. He also voiced the character in the four-part Pokémon: Mega Evolution Specials. In subsequent Pokémon series, Paque provided voices for various characters, including Zipp and multiple Pokémon such as Crabrawler in Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, and the Rotom Drone in Pokémon Journeys: The Series.
Beyond Pokémon, Paque has voiced major characters in several other notable anime. He is the voice of Yusaku Fujiki and his alter-ego Playmaker in Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS.
