Elisha Elfrieden, the legitimate successor to the throne of the Elfrieden Kingdom, survived a succession crisis following the death of the 12th King. Elisha became a doting grandmother to her grandchildren, Cian and Kazuha, born to her daughter Liscia and Kazuya. She temporarily cared for Liscia during her pregnancy and the twins' early infancy. She later expressed distress when the twins referred to all of Kazuya's queens as "Ma" instead of differentiating her as their biological grandmother, particularly when they learned Carla Vargas's name first.
