TV-Series
Description
Sapphie is a female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Jewelpet with lemon yellow fur and cornflower blue ears. Her sky blue or light blue jewel eyes are crafted from sapphires. She wears a light pink and light blue flower garland on her head and a white pearl necklace featuring a blue treble clef-shaped sapphire jewel. Sometimes she dons a white professor's cloak and glasses. Her Jewel Charm form is an egg-shaped blue object embedded with a dark blue star-shaped sapphire surrounded by four small round dark blue sapphires, decorated with white-gold trimmings. Transforming magically into a human, she retains her yellow tail, appearing as a girl with sky blue hair in two ponytails, a pink vest with blue ribbons, and a light blue skirt.

Quiet, smart, kind, and introspective, Sapphie is often found gazing at the outside world from windowsills. She demonstrates calmness, empathy, and a deep understanding of others' emotions, leading her to support her human partners across various series. As the embodiment of friendship, her magic facilitates human connections and fosters bonds. She possesses intelligence, aesthetic appreciation, and calm judgment. Sapphie holds the highest magical ranking, "Crystal Class," due to her consistently successful spellcasting. Academically inclined, she excels in inventing and scientific experimentation, frequently blending magic with science. Her known incantations include "Puru Puru Prism Jewerhythm! Sapphire Jewel Flash!" for individual spells and group summoning chants like "Puripuru Puropuru Puriphony!" with Ruby and Garnet.

Her history begins in the first *Jewelpet* series, appearing as a Jewel Charm scattered to Earth. Discovered by Aoi Arisugawa in Episode 3, she awakens to help Aoi overcome social isolation through magic, solidifying their friendship and prompting Aoi to join the Jewelpet search. In *Jewelpet Twinkle☆*, she partners with the lonely girl Sara, guiding her emotionally. *Jewelpet Sunshine* depicts her as a student and biologist at Sunshine Academy, maintaining a secret laboratory where she allows a robot named Nejikawa to assist her.

In *Jewelpet Kira☆Deco!*, she serves as Kiichi Furano's partner and a member of the KiraDeco 5 team. She owns a library and a food-growing tree, temporarily teaching at a school until replaced by the antagonist Coal (disguised as "Coarumi"). She actively aids the quest to collect Deco Stones to restore Queen Jewelina, wielding a Jewel Pod with the ambition to enhance it using a Philosopher's Stone. For *Jewelpet Happiness*, she works at the Jewelpet Café Happiness alongside her partner Nene Konoe, assisting Nene in revitalizing a family-owned department store by removing a problematic statue. This act generates a Magic Gem symbolizing their bond; she later forms another Magic Gem with Azusa-sensei.

*Lady Jewelpet* pairs her with Charon, a timid girl whom she mentors to become a confident "Lady". In *Jewelpet Magical Change*, she retains her intellectual traits, contributing ideas to revive the Jewelpet series and participating in a cooking show where her experimental microwave invention malfunctions due to Ruby's interference. She appears briefly in the film *Jewelpet the Movie: Sweets Dance Princess*, attending Princess Mana's birthday celebration in Sweetsland.

Her birthday is September 1, aligning with sapphire as September's birthstone. Her secondary motif is a treble clef, and an omitted flower detail exists in her garland design for anime adaptations. She initially ranked as the second Jewelpet in the franchise roster but debuted third in the anime series. Some profiles note her fear of doctors and hospitals.
