Giovanna Papandrea is an Italian voice actor known for her extensive work in the dubbing of anime series and films for the Italian market. Born on October 9, 1977, in Milan, Lombardy, she has lent her voice to a wide array of characters across numerous popular franchises.

Papandrea is particularly recognized for her long-standing association with the Hamtaro franchise, where she provided the Italian voice for the character Bijou in various installments. Her roles as Bijou include the television series Hamtaro, as well as the films Tottoko Hamutarō: Ham Ham Ham - Jya! Maboroshi no Princess and Tottoko Hamutarō: Hamu Hamu Land Daibōken. In the latter film, she also voiced the character Pashmina. Another significant and recurring role is that of Melody, the friend of the protagonist Hazuki Fujiwara, in the Ojamajo Doremi series. She voiced Melody across multiple seasons, including Ojamajo Doremi, Ojamajo Doremi, Mo~tto! Ojamajo Doremi, and Ojamajo Doremi DOKKAAN!, as well as in the films Ojamajo Doremi # and Mo~tto! Ojamajo Doremi Kaeru Seki no Himitsu.

In addition to these, Papandrea has taken on other prominent roles. She voiced Yuna Kamihara, a spirited young girl and the main human protagonist, in the anime series Stitch!. She was also the voice of Sapphie in the magical girl series Jewelpet and portrayed the alien Empress Azalyn in The Irresponsible Captain Tylor. Her versatility is further demonstrated by her role as Mikoto Suou in the comedy series School Rumble and its second season.

Papandrea's career includes a vast number of other credits, showcasing her range across different genres. She has voiced characters in major franchises such as Pokémon, where she performed the theme song as Pikachu and voiced the character Molly in Pokémon 3 - The Movie. Her work also includes roles in Cardcaptor Sakura as Nakuru Akizuki, Yu-Gi-Oh! as both Kisara and Serenity Wheeler, Dragon Ball Z movies as Jiaozi, and Zatch Bell as Marylou. Many of her dubbing projects, including Ojamajo Doremi and Stitch!, were produced by the Milan-based studio Merak Film, a common hub for Italian voice acting.
