TV Special
Description
Gian, whose full name is Takeshi Gouda, dominates his neighborhood through his imposing stature and assertive, frequently aggressive behavior. He commandeers toys, books, and gadgets from other children, especially Nobita and Suneo, claiming to "borrow" them but rejecting any damaged items.

His self-perception starkly contrasts reality, particularly concerning his singing talent and culinary prowess. Convinced he is a gifted singer, he routinely forces other children to endure his tone-deaf concerts. He similarly compels others to sample his notably unpalatable homemade meals.

Despite his bullying, Gian demonstrates fierce loyalty and protective instincts during genuine crises, proving a steadfast ally. He harbors deep affection for his younger sister, Jaiko, often aiding her pursuits like manga writing, sometimes employing Doraemon's gadgets, though his methods frustrate her.

Gian leads as founder and captain of the neighborhood baseball team, "The Giants." He consistently drafts Nobita to complete the roster, disregarding Nobita's athletic shortcomings. Defeats trigger his anger, leading him to blame teammates, especially Nobita, driven by a philosophy prioritizing victory above all else.

A significant aspect is his profound fear of his mother, who runs the family grocery store. She enforces strict discipline, physically punishing him for shirking chores or bullying. Merely hearing her voice incites panic and retreat, a fear Nobita and Doraemon occasionally exploit.

Gian experiences moments of introspection and attempts at change. Reflecting on his unpopularity, especially around his birthday when friends avoid him, he once sought Doraemon's aid to reform, resolving to act gently. However, ridicule from Suneo and others about his unnatural behavior quickly reignited his temper, causing a relapse into aggression.

His relationship with Suneo mixes camaraderie and exploitation; they often collaborate with Suneo as messenger or sidekick, yet Gian bullies Suneo and consumes his food. Suneo sometimes retaliates using Doraemon's gadgets.

Interactions with Nobita are primarily antagonistic, involving frequent intimidation and verbal abuse, which Gian rationalizes as essential to his well-being. Underlying care surfaces occasionally; he has saved Nobita from peril, offered medicine during illness, and supported his choices.

Gian maintains a respectful friendship with Shizuka, ceasing aggression upon her intervention, though she shares the common aversion to his concerts and meals. He owns a dog named Muku. While he rarely performs caregiving duties, leaving them to Jaiko, he shows underlying affection for the pet despite dismissive remarks.

Gian participates in activities like baseball games with Nobita and others, contributing to group dynamics during their adventures.

Emotionally sensitive, Gian is easily moved to tears by poignant moments. He deeply values his friendships, a sentiment sometimes reciprocated, contrasting his intimidating exterior and positioning him as a bullying figure with underlying tsundere traits.
