Description
Illyasviel von Einzbern, known as Illya, is a homunculus created by the Einzbern family as the Holy Grail vessel for the Fourth Holy Grail War. Her parents, Kiritsugu Emiya and Irisviel von Einzbern, abandoned the ritual when she was eight months old. They sealed her magical abilities and Grail-related memories to grant her a normal childhood in Fuyuki City. Raised alongside her adopted brother Shirou Emiya under the care of maids Leysritt and Sella, these suppressed memories later manifested as a separate personality called Kuro (Chloe von Einzbern).
Initially a shy elementary school student who enjoys anime and cute items like stuffed animals, Illya's life shifts dramatically when the sentient Kaleidostick Ruby selects her as its master, forcing her into the role of a magical girl.
