Description
Koyuki Himekawa, known as Snow White (her name combining the kanji for "snow" and "princess"), embodies a fairytale-inspired identity. She began as an idealistic middle school student who achieved her dream of becoming a magical girl through a social network game, envisioning the role as purely heroic and dedicated to benevolent acts like rescuing people and resolving minor crises while avoiding conflict.

The forced elimination game of the Unmarked arc shattered her worldview. Witnessing allies like La Pucelle die left her psychologically scarred and jaded. Surviving alongside Ripple transformed her from a passive idealist into the aggressive "Magical Girl Hunter." Joining the Magical Kingdom's Inspection Department, she methodically tracked rogue magical girls endangering civilians, often bending or breaking bureaucratic rules to achieve justice. This reflected her hardened pragmatism and concealed self-loathing over past powerlessness. Trauma manifested as emotional detachment and reluctance to form new bonds, fearing further loss.

Her resolve faced repeated tests. In Restart, she confronted the rogue magical girl Keek, delivering a scathing critique of Keek's hypocrisy. During JOKERS, she investigated artificial magical girls in S-City following a message from the presumed-dead Ripple. The ACES arc embroiled her in the Puk/Osk faction war. QUEENS saw her brainwashed by Puk Puck into becoming his tactical enforcer until freed by Bluebell Candy. In Black, she partnered with Princess Deluge to infiltrate Umemizaki Middle School, later enrolling as a transfer student. White depicted her recruiting allies against warring factions. Red culminated in her fusing with a mortally wounded Ripple via homunculus cloning, merging their bodies and minds into Snow Blood. Snow White dominated control, while Ripple's consciousness persisted as an internal voice.

Her personality evolved from naive enthusiasm to stoic determination, masking deep-seated guilt and death-seeking recklessness. Outwardly cold during missions, she retained warmth in civilian life, showing maturity and occasional openness with trusted allies like Princess Inferno. Her core ethic of protecting innocents endured, but her methods grew ruthless; she crippled opponents or exploited psychological weaknesses without hesitation, epitomizing a "light is not nice" ethos.

Her initial magic detected distress thoughts within a variable range, locating people in need. Post-training, it evolved into targeted mind-reading focused on fear and negative emotions, enabling combat foresight and long-range tracking. As Snow Blood, she gained Ripple's ability to ensure thrown projectiles always hit their target. Her arsenal included unbreakable weapons like Swim Swim's halberd "Ruler" and Princess Inferno's heat-emitting scimitar, plus utility items: a 4-dimensional storage bag, an invisibility cloak, and Tetty Goodgrip's strength-enhancing mittens. Physically, she remained average among magical girls despite rigorous training, relying on strategic ingenuity and her evolving psychic powers.
