Description
Rico suffered severe birth defects that left her bedridden in constant pain, unable to walk. Her parents seldom visited, arguing about her financial burden before relinquishing her to the Social Welfare Agency at age eleven when assured of her survival. The Agency transformed her into a cyborg assassin via extensive augmentations, replacing limbs and boosting physical prowess. Unlike other cyborgs, Rico retained vivid pre-Agency memories and dream recall. She embraced her new body and role as a profound blessing, radiating cheerfulness and gratitude during Agency life. Typically silent unless spoken to, she gradually opened up to fellow cyborgs and her handler, Jean Croce. Her core fear involved losing her cybernetic form and becoming useless to Jean.

Assigned to Jean Croce, Rico showed absolute loyalty despite his emotionally detached, harsh demeanor—a result of trauma from losing his sister and fiancée to Giacomo Dante’s terrorism. She occasionally revealed subtle discontent but accepted his behavior unquestioningly. During a pivotal mission against Dante, Jean ordered Rico to shoot through him; she obeyed, nearly killing Jean. Her masculine attire, likely chosen by Jean, mirrored their utilitarian dynamic.

Specializing in long-range and close combat, Rico wielded a CZ-75 pistol and Dragunov SVD sniper rifle, supplemented by a Beretta SCP-70/90, IMI Galil MAR carbine, Benelli M4 Super 90 shotgun, MG3 machine gun, and an FN SCAR-H CQC rifle with EO-Tech sight during a Nuclear Power Plant assault. Operationally detached, she apologetically assassinated a friendly bellhop to preserve cover post-mission. She displayed fervor during interrogations, leveraging enhanced strength to overpower suspects. Unexplained tears upon waking hinted at buried emotions beneath her calm exterior.

Post-Agency dissolution, Rico resided on a ship with Claes and other cyborgs until dying roughly a year later from cybernetic complications. Years afterward, Jean kept her photograph on his desk. An unverified implication suggested she might have operated as "Pandora" to thwart Dante’s prison escape.
