Description
Taichi Yagami, known as Tai Kamiya in some regions, first encountered the Digital World as a child living in Hikarigaoka. A mysterious Digi-Egg emerged from his family computer, hatching into Botamon, which evolved into Koromon and then Agumon. This led to a battle against Parrotmon that caused significant neighborhood destruction, officially blamed on terrorism. Following this incident, his family moved to Odaiba. A formative childhood event occurred when Tai, unaware of his younger sister Hikari's serious illness, took her outside to play soccer, causing her collapse and hospitalization.
