TV-Series
Description
Shirō Emiya serves as a supporting character in the *Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya* universe. Adopted by Kiritsugu Emiya roughly ten years before the series begins, he is Illyasviel von Einzbern's adoptive brother. While the fate of his biological parents remains unspecified, the Great Fire that orphaned him in other timelines did not happen here. Due to complications with formal family registration involving Kiritsugu and Irisviel von Einzbern, Shirō retains the Emiya surname. He resides in Fuyuki City with Illya, Irisviel, and the homunculus maids Sella and Leysritt, finding himself the only male in a household where this imbalance, Irisviel's teasing, and surrounding magical antics occasionally heighten his stress.

Physically, Shirō has auburn hair, fair skin, and golden eyes. His facial features appear softer and calmer than his counterparts, reflecting his more peaceful life. He is typically seen in the Homurahara Academy uniform or casual wear: a white shirt with blue sleeves and slim blue jeans. His daily routine centers on attending high school and managing household responsibilities.

Shirō possesses a carefree and helpful personality. He exhibits exceptional domestic skills, particularly in cooking, which often surpasses Sella's abilities and sparks friendly rivalry. He shows genuine concern for Illya's well-being, regularly inquiring about her activities and emotional state. However, he remains largely unaware of the magical conflicts involving Illya, Rin Tohsaka, and Luvia Edelfelt, or the existence of Class Cards. This naivety extends to his interactions with the Kaleidosticks, though he sometimes becomes an unintended victim of their experiments.

Romantically, Shirō displays consistent obliviousness to the affections directed at him by Illya, Chloe, Rin, Luvia, Sakura Matō, and his classmate Moriyama. This emotional density, coupled with accidental encounters in compromising situations, leads Rin to compare him to a romantic-comedy protagonist. He does not reciprocate or acknowledge these feelings.

Within the household, Shirō occupies a self-described position at the "bottom rung," accepting good-natured teasing from Sella, Leysritt, and Auguste (Luvia's butler) with resigned tolerance. His role often involves providing emotional and practical support during domestic disruptions caused by magical incidents, such as bathroom destructions requiring temporary relocation to Luvia's residence. He maintains a routine of part-time employment to cover personal expenses, reflecting his desire for independence despite Raiga Fujimura's financial support.

During *Prisma Illya 2wei Herz!*, Shirō's involvement remains primarily domestic. He interacts with Chloe (Illya's counterpart originating from the Archer Class Card) during her integration into the Emiya household, including participation in a comedic baking competition. His established traits—cooking expertise, obliviousness to romantic tension, and role as a stabilizing presence during chaotic situations—continue without significant alteration or development.
