Description
Yukiho Hagiwara is a 15-16-year-old girl from Aomori, standing 158 cm tall and born on December 24th, Restoration Year 91. Shy, introverted, and kind-hearted, she aspires to become an Idolmaster to overcome her timid nature and displays the unusual ability to fall asleep anywhere.
As Haruka Amami's classmate, their friendship begins when Yukiho returns Haruka's dropped key at Omiya Station in Tokyo. She attempts to pilot iDOL mechas alongside Haruka at Mondenkind but fails, subsequently assuming a support role. This failure conceals her true allegiance: Yukiho is a covert operative for Turiavita, a faction seeking humanity's replacement by genetically engineered Mischlings. Her loyalty stems from childhood, when Chihaya saved her life, forging intense devotion. Infiltrating Mondenkind under Chihaya's orders, she carries a giraffe phone strap gifted during their first meeting as a token of their bond.
Despite her deep commitment to Turiavita, Yukiho forms genuine affection for Haruka, her first true friend. Haruka's encouragement during training instills courage in Yukiho, creating internal conflict when her espionage mission concludes. After hesitation, she chooses to return to Chihaya and Turiavita. Though unable to pilot at Mondenkind, Yukiho reveals her inherent Idolmaster abilities at Turiavita, piloting the mecha Nubilum after Chihaya transitions to Imber. This contrasts with her earlier perceived failure, leveraging her latent skills. Her arc navigates tensions between unwavering loyalty to Chihaya and the emotional impact of her friendship with Haruka.
