Description
Majorika, proprietor of the Maho-dou magic shop, is a witch thrust into a cursed frog form after Doremi Harukaze inadvertently reveals her identity. To break the enchantment, she recruits Doremi and her friends as witch apprentices, compelling them to undergo nine trials. Initially transactional, their bond deepens through shared trials—combating rivals’ forbidden magic and surrendering their powers to rescue Onpu Segawa from eternal slumber. Post-curse, Majorika returns to the Witch World but reengages when the apprentices encounter Hana, the future queen born during their visit. Though not Hana’s guardian, her history with the group shapes their renewed role as protectors.

She later mediates Witch World conflicts, confronting external threats like Majo Tourbillon’s vengeance-driven curses. In the final arc, she oversees efforts to resolve Tourbillon’s vendetta, subtly aiding the protagonists as they address Tourbillon’s fractured past. When the apprentices permanently abandon magic, Majorika reclaims Hana to uphold the Witch World’s legacy. Her journey shifts from self-preservation to stewardship, balancing mystical traditions and human connections while adhering to ancient protocols, solidifying her role as a bridge between realms.
