Description
Togepi is a small, light-yellow Pokémon with a rounded, egg-shaped body permanently encased in its white eggshell, adorned with red and blue rounded triangular patterns. It possesses stubby arms, thin oval eyes, five crown-like spikes on its head, and round feet with two toes featuring brown pads on the soles.

Within *Pokémon Heroes: Latios & Latias*, Togepi serves as Misty's companion. Misty carries it during the Tour de Alto Mare water race, and it accompanies the group throughout their stay in the canal city. Togepi passively observes events like the race and the museum tour detailing Alto Mare's history. It is present during the garden scene involving Latias and Latios but does not directly interact with the legendary Pokémon or engage in the central conflict.

Biologically, Togepi can retract into its shell, often while sleeping. It absorbs positive emotions such as compassion and joy from humans and other Pokémon, storing this happiness inside its shell to later share with others, cementing its reputation as a symbol of good luck. While anecdotal observations note superficial similarities between Togepi's shell patterns and the head crests of Latias and Latios, official media establishes no direct biological or lore-based connection between these species.

Across all its appearances, Togepi exhibits a generally joyful and innocent disposition. Its role in *Pokémon Heroes* remains minor and observational; it does not participate in the primary plot involving the Soul Dew or the Defense Mechanism of Alto Mare. The film depicts no significant character development or unique actions specific to Togepi beyond its established presence.
