Description
Chisato Shirasagi actively performs as the bassist for Pastel*Palettes while attending Yotsuba Women's University, Faculty of Humanities, as a first-year student. A famous actress since childhood, she cannot recall if she chose that path herself. This early career fostered a pragmatic, occasionally cynical outlook, contrasting her more idealistic bandmates. Initially viewing Pastel*Palettes as temporary, she planned to depart after their first failure. Aya Maruyama's dedication changed her mind, leading to long-term commitment.

Standing 152 cm tall, she has platinum blonde hair nearly reaching her chest, typically styled with layered bangs split into three portions and forelocks pulled back. Performances often feature her hair tied with a white ribbon or accessories. Her violet eyes and light beige skin complement a feminine fashion sense favoring casual attire with floral patterns, sheer fabrics, and ribbons.

Politeness and maturity characterize her, though annoyance or proximity to her childhood friend Kaoru—whose dramatic tendencies she dislikes—can prompt bluntness. This straightforwardness surfaces defending her band or facing criticism. Outwardly composed, she harbors insecurities, viewing herself as less talented than bandmates and envying their effortless abilities. Childhood in entertainment taught her emotional suppression; she once broke down after Kaoru praised her strength, confessing fears about classmates' reactions to her acting roles. Over time, she reserves her genuine self for close friends like Kaoru and middle-school friend/roommate Kanon Matsubara, separating public persona from private identity.

Her development shows gradual emotional openness. Initially dismissive of Aya's optimism, she grew protective of Pastel*Palettes, mediating conflicts and creating opportunities. She admits seeking her own dream through the band, stimulated by college life's new experiences. Relationships reveal different facets: competitiveness and insecurity around Aya; envy of Hina Hikawa's quick learning; softness with Eve Wakamiya; mentorship toward Maya Yamato. She clings to childhood connections, using the nickname "Kao-chan" for Kaoru to tease her.

She had no bass experience before joining Pastel*Palettes. Her instrument resembles a modified Fender Japan Jazz Bass Special. Outside music, she enjoys tea, acai bowls, shopping, and café visits, while disliking natto. She owns a golden retriever named Leon, bakes dog treats, and struggles with train transfers and drawing. Fears include bugs and frogs. Her younger sister frequently borrows her clothes without permission.
