Description
Elina Vance, third daughter of Count Vance, belongs to an aristocratic family of royal lineage ruling the Continent. She commands the Vance Royal Guard, executing bodyguard duties, intelligence gathering, and special assassination assignments under her father. Trained since childhood in martial arts, espionage, and assassination, she specializes in spear combat and body techniques. She wields iron claws for close attacks and wires for binding foes at range. Her combat employs psychological warfare through taunts and "cursing words" to demoralize enemies, break concentration, and create openings. Her parameters show high agility, technique, and leadership.

Her appearance features blonde hair, light blue eyes, and a height of 168 cm (reduced to 163 cm in Unlimited). Her armor consistently displays a feline motif. Initially, she wears a metal cat-eared headband, a blue-accented metal brassiere, and striped clothing. In Rebellion, her outfit shifts to all-black with a cat-eared face guard, cape, and rubies adorning her breastplate and thong. Unlimited introduces a more revealing design with a white neck bow, blue breastplate, and lace sleeves. Her primary weapons are a spear and clawed gauntlet.

Elina exhibits borderline personality disorder and sadomasochistic tendencies. Outwardly innocent or friendly, she harbors deep-seated cruelty, particularly towards commoners or non-Vances, whom she disdains. Her defining trait is an obsessive, libidinous fixation on her older sister Leina, manifesting in delusional fantasies about capturing and living with her. This obsession drives her primary motivation: entering the Queen's Blade tournament under her father's orders to locate and forcibly return Leina. She rationalizes this mission as proving her strength to earn Leina's submission, intending to defeat all other participants Leina encounters.

Her story begins pre-tournament, where repeated failures to capture Leina via subordinates lead Count Vance to assign her personally. During the Gainos tournament, she resides with her half-sister Claudette, analyzing opponents like Nyx to exploit weaknesses. In Rebellion, following Count Vance's downfall, Elina shifts allegiance to Queen Claudette, leading the Assassins of the Fang, the Queen's assassination unit. Here, her extreme cruelty deters others from questioning her reduced pursuit of the missing Leina. Her psychosexual fixation expands to include Claudette. Later, in Unlimited, she develops an attachment to Michel Rivaranciel while maintaining her goal to "bring Leina back."

Her fighting style evolves: Rebellion sees her discard the spear for enhanced claws and binding wires, reflecting her lethality as Assassins leader. She retains her psychological tactics and agility. She owns a pet white tiger, Timorf, guarding her quarters. An anagram connects her name to Leina's, suggesting intentional naming.
