Description
Tatsumi Leonard Aragaki trained under Coach Nanbu before the reserves called him to war. Their bond was strong during this time; Aragaki flourished under Nanbu's guidance, maintaining hope despite deployment concerns.

Drafted into a war roughly ten years before Megalonia, Aragaki suffered severe injuries in an accident, losing both legs below the knees. His return home triggered a significant psychological decline. Haunted by memories of the explosion and his injuries, he endured intense post-traumatic stress for the first year, reaching a critically low point where he contemplated suicide. The thought of Nanbu briefly halted this intention, but discovering Nanbu and his gym had vanished without a trace plunged Aragaki back into depression.

His eventual recovery coincided with receiving prosthetic legs, enabling his return to competitive Megalo boxing as Megalonia's 17th-ranked boxer. Initially focused on advancing as far as possible in the tournament, Aragaki's goal shifted upon encountering Nanbu's new protégé, Joe. Driven by a sense of betrayal and unresolved trauma, his objective became the destruction of Nanbu's latest creation. This vendetta culminated in a desperate battle against Joe, during which Aragaki confronted his past and the symbolic blue butterfly motif associated with his wartime trauma—a motif he later tattooed on his chest.

Physically, Aragaki is 32 years old, stands 1.85 meters tall, and has black hair and black eyes. His fighting style, shaped by Nanbu's training, shared similarities with Joe's approach, though Aragaki utilized lighter gear. Their shared background as scarred fighters trained by Nanbu created a foil dynamic, particularly in their divergent reactions to perceived betrayals by their coach.

Following his tournament participation and the resolution of his conflict with Joe and Nanbu, Aragaki transitioned into a coaching role. He joined a gym frequented by veterans, mentoring retired fighters in Megaloboxing and channeling his experiences into guiding others. This role marked a departure from his earlier vengeful pursuits, reflecting a reconciliation with his past and a commitment to supporting fellow veterans.
