TV-Series
Description
Shamal serves as a medic and housekeeper within the Wolkenritter, knights created by the Ancient Belkan Book of Darkness. Her age spans centuries. Initially ruthless in past Book incidents, extracting Linker Cores without hesitation, her nature transformed after meeting her master, Hayate Yagami. Under Hayate's influence, she became a gentle, caring individual, deeply devoted to her new family.

During the Book of Darkness crisis in *A's*, Shamal frequently devised excuses to explain the knights' absences to Hayate, bearing the emotional burden of deception. Her duties included maintaining communication barriers and using her signature long-range transport spell, Mirror of Travels. She assisted in locating and transporting the Defense Program's core to space for destruction. Hayate later restored Shamal and the other knights, solidifying their bond.

Shamal officially joined the Time-Space Administration Bureau in May 0066. By April 0071, she worked at the Bureau's Medical Centre as a Medical Master, identifiable by her uniform. She relocated with the Yagami family from Earth to Midchilda before Hayate's junior high graduation. In the movie continuity, she appeared in a Sailing Force uniform as a doctor in the Bureau's Main Office under Leti Lowran's arrangement.

During *StrikerS* (0075–76), Shamal held a Medical Master C-III qualification and served as Chief Medical Master of the Long Arch for Riot Force 6. She provided strategic command support during operations like the Hotel Augusta attack. Her medical expertise included healing injuries and monitoring the Wolkenritter's weakening connection to Hayate, a process gradually making them more human. She expressed contentment living her "last life" with Hayate but worried about her fellow knights. After Riot Force 6 disbanded in 0076, she returned to the Medical Centre.

Shamal's capabilities focus on support and healing magic. Her primary device, Klarwind, consists of four rings enabling detection, portal creation, binding, and defense. She excels with healing spells (Physical Heal, Calming Heal), barrier spells (Gefängnis der Magie), and transport spells (Mirror of Travels). Klarwind also produces cartridges for other knights. Her Knight Clothing, designed by Hayate, features a white and green dress with a light green jacket and nursing cap, with minor design evolutions in later movies.

In later series, Shamal appears minimally in *ViVid*, primarily in domestic settings or at Intermiddle Championship events. In *Force*, she is seconded to Special Duty Section 6 as chief of its Medical Squad, providing critical aid during the Eclipse Incident, treating officers affected by Divide Zero, and monitoring Lily-Strosek's Eclipse virus.

Shamal's personality is characterized by soft-spoken kindness, politeness, and emotional sensitivity, particularly regarding criticism of her cooking. She shares a close bond with Hayate, addressing her affectionately as "Hayate-chan." Despite her gentle demeanor, she exhibits resilience during crises. Her development from a detached enforcer to a compassionate healer and family anchor remains central to her narrative.
