Shelby Lindley is an American voice actress known for her work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime series and video games. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, she began her professional acting career as a child, appearing in theater at the age of nine and in her first film at the age of seven. She started doing voice-over work in her teenage years. Lindley comes from a family with Hollywood roots; her great-aunt was actress Audra Lindley.

Lindley's career in anime encompasses a variety of significant roles. She is recognized for providing the voice of Tsumugi Kotobuki, the gentle keyboardist of the Light Music Club, in the English adaptation of the popular series K-ON!, including its sequels and feature film. In the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha franchise, she voiced two distinct characters in the series Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's: the wheelchair-bound orphan Hayate Yagami and one of her guardians, Shamal. She also voiced Hitomi Shizuki, a classmate of the main characters, in the critically acclaimed series Puella Magi Madoka Magica and its subsequent movies. Another notable role is Ram, one of the twin sisters, in the English adaptation of Hyperdimension Neptunia: The Animation and its associated original video animations. Her earlier work includes the role of Miletis in the series Tweeny Witches and its OVA follow-up, Tweeny Witches: The Adventures.

Beyond these key roles, Lindley's voice work extends to other anime series. She played Chizuru Aizawa in Squid Girl, Aimi Tabata in Noragami, Taeko Nomura in Coppelion, and a minor role in Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet. Her contributions to the anime industry also include a significant number of video game voice roles. She is particularly associated with the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise, reprising her role as Ram in numerous video game installments over many years, including titles like Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, Megadimension Neptunia VII, and Neptunia: Sisters vs Sisters. Other video game credits include Shallistera in Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea and Saaya in Onechanbara Z2: Chaos.

In addition to her voice acting career, Shelby Lindley is also a singer-songwriter and was a member of the Los Angeles-based folk trio "Shelby, Tieg & Tara".
