"K-On!" is a slice-of-life anime centered around the daily lives of a group of high school girls who form their school’s light music club. The story begins with Yui Hirasawa, a carefree and somewhat absent-minded first-year student, who initially joins the club under the mistaken impression that it involves playing simple instruments like castanets.
