Julia Meynen is a German voice actress, dubbing director, dialogue writer, and singer, widely recognized for her extensive work in the German-language dubbing of anime and international television series. Born in Berlin on August 6, 1982, she began her career in voice acting at a very young age, securing her first professional engagements at ten years old.

Meynen's career is marked by a significant number of leading roles in anime series. One of her earliest and most enduring roles is Ayumi Yoshida in the long-running series Detective Conan, a character she has voiced in the first season, later seasons, and numerous films. She has portrayed a wide array of iconic characters, including the titular protagonist Eureka in Eureka Seven, the cheerful guitarist Yui Hirasawa in K-On!, the powerful magical girl Mami Tomoe in Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and the quiet and mysterious Yuki Nagato in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Her range extends to characters like the ambitious fighter Hakufu Sonsaku in Ikki Tousen, Shinka Nibutani in Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!, Suguha Kirigawa in Sword Art Online, and Nejire Hado in the My Hero Academia franchise. She also voiced the teenage Yuki in the critically acclaimed film Wolf Children.
