Description
Adalbert von Fahrenheit hailed from an impoverished lesser noble family in the Galactic Empire. He enlisted in the Imperial Fleet, where his natural aptitude for offensive tactics emerged early. During the Goldenbaum Dynasty, he deliberately suppressed these capabilities to avoid provoking superiors, leading imperial leaders to view him as insubordinate and ineffective. In January 796 UC, he was assigned as one of several "problematic" admirals to Reinhard von Lohengramm's expeditionary force at the Battle of Astarte. There, he became the first among his peers to recognize the strategic merit of Reinhard's plan to evade Alliance encirclement. Siegfried Kircheis noted this insight and recommended him to lead the vanguard attack.
During the Imperial Civil War in 797 UC, Fahrenheit served as a Vice Admiral under High Admiral Willibald Joachim von Merkatz within the Lippstadt League opposition forces. He stood out as one of the few professionally trained military officers among the League's predominantly noble leadership. Following Duke Otto von Braunschweig's death and the League's collapse, Fahrenheit surrendered after persuasion by Merkatz.
