Description
Adalbert von Fahrenheit hailed from an impoverished lesser noble family in the Galactic Empire. He enlisted in the Imperial Fleet, where his natural aptitude for offensive tactics emerged early. During the Goldenbaum Dynasty, he deliberately suppressed these capabilities to avoid provoking superiors, leading imperial leaders to view him as insubordinate and ineffective. In January 796 UC, he was assigned as one of several "problematic" admirals to Reinhard von Lohengramm's expeditionary force at the Battle of Astarte. There, he became the first among his peers to recognize the strategic merit of Reinhard's plan to evade Alliance encirclement. Siegfried Kircheis noted this insight and recommended him to lead the vanguard attack.

During the Imperial Civil War in 797 UC, Fahrenheit served as a Vice Admiral under High Admiral Willibald Joachim von Merkatz within the Lippstadt League opposition forces. He stood out as one of the few professionally trained military officers among the League's predominantly noble leadership. Following Duke Otto von Braunschweig's death and the League's collapse, Fahrenheit surrendered after persuasion by Merkatz. Brought before Reinhard von Lohengramm, he was recruited into Reinhard's fleet due to his recognized abilities. He retained his rank of Vice Admiral and subsequently demonstrated unwavering loyalty to Reinhard's cause.

Under Reinhard's command, Fahrenheit rose to High Admiral after the establishment of the Goldenlöwe Dynasty. His aggressive tactical style earned him a reputation comparable to Admiral Fritz Joseph Bittenfeld's Black Lancers fleet, making them the empire's foremost offensive commanders. Fahrenheit participated in key campaigns like Operation Ragnarök, the large-scale invasion of the Free Planets Alliance. His fleet engaged at the Battle of Rantemario but was absent from the pivotal Battle of Vermillion.

In 800 UC, Fahrenheit executed members of Rockwell's group who murdered João Rebelo in a misguided attempt to gain Reinhard's favor. He expressed notable fury that the conspirators compared themselves to him. Later that year, during the Battle of the Corridor, Fahrenheit and Bittenfeld were deployed to blockade Yang Wen-li's forces exiting the Iserlohn Corridor. Their fleets became trapped under heavy crossfire near the corridor's exit. To facilitate an imperial retreat, Fahrenheit ordered his flagship, the *Asgrimm*, to position itself at the rear as a defensive shield. This action enabled numerous imperial ships to escape. Fahrenheit sustained mortal wounds during this maneuver. Despite the opportunity to evacuate, he deliberately remained aboard the crippled *Asgrimm* and perished with the vessel. He received a posthumous promotion to Fleet Admiral.
