Description
Back Arrow is a mysterious amnesiac who emerges from a crash-landed Rakuho capsule in Edger Village, recalling only the phrase "I came from beyond the wall"—contradicting Lingalind's belief that nothing exists past their world-encircling Wall. Initially nameless, he adopts "Back Arrow" after mishearing Bit Namital's insult "bakayarou."
He possesses above-average height and a muscular build, with black hair, blue eyes, and distinctive red streaks in his bangs. A prominent scar marks his chest. His attire includes red underwear, a black jacket missing its left sleeve, damaged white trousers, and red boots.
Driven by a strong sense of justice, loyalty, and protectiveness toward friends and innocents, he displays a friendly demeanor but confronts bullies and threats decisively. This compels him to safeguard Edger Village’s residents, delaying his journey beyond the Wall. He later grapples with profound guilt upon discovering his true purpose.
His Briheight, *Muga*, manifests uniquely due to his lack of fixed convictions: a malleable, gel-like substance absorbing physical attacks harmlessly and destroying enemy Briheights/Bind Warpers without killing operators. It shapeshifts into wings or weapons, generates spontaneous abilities like electrical blasts or razor winds, and creates energy-draining clones. He also exhibits enhanced endurance, strength, and self-healing.
His background reveals he is an "annihilator" sent by "God" to purge Lingalind of humanity. This purpose awakens beyond the Wall aboard the Granedger. Under Rudolf Condutore’s influence, he merges with Lutoh’s Meastrog fortress, losing control of his latent power. In this state, he inadvertently kills Baran Sujita and Demyne Shaft while erasing Lutoh’s military; his chest scar pulses when these destructive abilities activate.
After Shu Bi separates him from Meastrog, despair consumes him when his touch accidentally disintegrates Shu during a reunion attempt. Suicidal and fearing he’ll harm others, he begs Kai Rhodan to kill him. His resolve shifts after encountering Zetsu Daidan and learning Shu survived beyond the Wall. He ultimately confronts Rudolf, accepting his power but rejecting his role as a weapon of annihilation.
