Description
Anzu Kadotani, chairman of Ōarai Girls Academy and former student council president, projects an air of calculated detachment, initially leveraging Miho Nishizumi’s recruitment into Sensha-dō through veiled threats tied to the school’s impending closure. Her orchestration of the tankery program’s revival, however, masks a fiercely guarded mission to stave off Ōarai’s shutdown amid financial collapse and dwindling enrollment—a motive concealed from teammates to prevent undue pressure.

Though often lounging with dried sweet potatoes during matches, Anzu balances her relaxed facade with precise micromanagement, directing operations through vice-president Yuzu Koyama while personally assuming the gunner’s role in pivotal battles. Her tactical boldness shone during the Pravda semifinal, where point-blank engagements crippled two tanks and stalled enemy advances. Ahead of the finals, she strategically upgraded Turtle Team’s Panzer 38(t) to a Hetzer, underscoring her adaptive command.

Post-tournament, she transitioned to chairman, stepping aside to empower Hana Isuzu’s new leadership while aiding Momo Kawashima’s university pursuits—a reflection of her early rise to presidency alongside both as a first-year, though details of her ascent remain enigmatic.

Anzu’s personal quirks intertwine with her strategic identity: her birthday aligns with Operation Bodenplatte (January 1), her preference for the T28 Super Heavy Tank mirrors her methodical nature, and her apricot-derived name follows Turtle Team’s fruit-themed tradition. In later crises, she brokered a high-risk match against a university team, rallying inter-school alliances to secure Ōarai’s survival—a testament to her blend of unflinching pragmatism and playful resilience.
