Description
Tooru Kazama, known as Georgie in the English Funimation dub and Cosmo in other regional adaptations, is a five-year-old character appearing across the *Crayon Shin-chan* franchise, including the 2005 film *Densetsu o Yobu Buriburi Sanpun Pokkiri Daishingeki*. He attends Futaba Kindergarten's Sunflower Class as Shinnosuke Nohara's classmate, consistently depicted with immaculate grooming, styled dark blue hair, and clothing featuring sky-blue tops with white collars, orange shorts, white socks, and black shoes.

Kazama exhibits a studious, disciplined demeanor, prioritizing academics through juku (cram school) and English classes, while displaying a know-it-all attitude that peers may perceive as snobbish. He secretly harbors affection for anime and manga, particularly magical girl series like *Magical Girl Moe-P*, which he conceals from friends. Kazama experiences crushes on Ai, Midori, Hanako, and Torma—once proposing marriage to Ai, resulting in a slap he tried to hide.

His family life reveals a strong attachment to his mother, Mineko Kazama, suggesting a potential Oedipus complex. His architect father, often working abroad, is rarely home but admired by Kazama for fluent English and a calm, cheerful demeanor. Kazama’s attempts to socialize with upper-class children for "elite" status face repeated disruption from Shinnosuke’s antics.

Kazama’s relationship with Shinnosuke involves frequent bickering and frustration over teasing, yet their bond proves profound. Despite Kazama’s denials of friendship, he chases a departing train in tears while shouting Shinnosuke’s name in *My Moving Story! Cactus Large Attack!* after Shinnosuke moves from Kasukabe. Their interactions include mutual kisses in several episodes.

Among peers, Kazama consistently comforts and assists Masao Sato during distress. Recurring narratives explore romantic implications with Himawari Nohara, Shinnosuke’s sister, including blushing while holding hands and mutual affection across episodes. The series hints at their potential future marriage, humorously opposed by Shinnosuke.

As a Kasukabe Defense Organization member, Kazama joins group adventures—rescuing brainwashed adults in *The Adult Empire Strikes Back* (2001) and confronting a monster invasion threatening Kasukabe in the 2005 film *Densetsu o Yobu Buriburi Sanpun Pokkiri Daishingeki* as part of the ensemble.

Kazama’s character subtly evolves across media, balancing academic rigidity with hidden vulnerabilities and deepening friendships. His consistent skills encompass English, calligraphy, sports, and mathematics.
