Description
Eucliwood Hellscythe, known as Eu, is a necromancer from the Underworld and a former member of the Seventh Abyss. She shared a close friendship with Naegleria Nebiros, who created her power-suppressing armor and gauntlets. After departing the Underworld, she lived in Tokyo before encountering the murdered Ayumu Aikawa. She resurrected him as a zombie, leading her to become his first housemate.

Her appearance features straight silver hair past her waist, blue eyes, and a medieval-inspired style. She constantly wears silver armor over a purple dress, including a forehead piece vital for suppressing her powers, even while bathing. She stands 155 cm (5'1") tall, has blood type A, and was born on July 26, making her a Leo.

She communicates solely through written notes, often about her large appetite. This stems from her reality-warping powers triggered involuntarily by speech. Speaking causes her intense pain and risks catastrophic, uncontrollable magic persisting even after her death. To protect others, she suppresses emotions and speech, maintaining a stoic exterior. Despite this, she demonstrates deep kindness, forgiveness, and loyalty, especially towards Ayumu. She strongly opposes casual mentions of death, even slapping Haruna for telling Ayumu to "drop dead," due to her personal understanding of dying's agony.

Her abilities focus on reality manipulation through vocal commands. Saying "die" causes instant death; "revive" or "live" can resurrect, as shown with Ayumu and the King of the Night. Healing transfers wounds to herself, inflicting equivalent pain. She can also create invisible shields to deflect attacks. Her armor and gauntlets are essential suppressants; removing them risks uncontrolled power surges. She can temporarily transform into a Masō-Shōjo, wielding the chainsaw Mystletainn or a scythe for combat, though this form is secondary to her innate power.

Key relationships define her development. With Ayumu, she shares a profound bond, reviving him despite minimal prior acquaintance – an act noted as exceptional. She later confesses love for him and relies on him for emotional support. Their dynamic evolves into mutual dependence, with light novel endings implying possible marriage. Interactions with Haruna involve friction and familial care, including discipline over flippant death references. The King of the Night, another she resurrected, represents a figure whose actions stemmed from her powers, yet she bore him no grudges.

Her character develops from isolation to integration. Early arcs reveal crippling self-loathing from accidental killings and a belief she endangers others. Following the King of the Night conflict, she temporarily abandons Ayumu for his safety but later reconciles, promising permanence. She gradually gains control, allowing sporadic speech without catastrophe. The light novel conclusion notes the complete loss of her necromancy abilities, enabling normal interaction. She adopts a NEET lifestyle and, per rumors among Ayumu's coworkers, potentially becomes his wife while cohabiting with other companions.

Trivia includes her creation of the "vampire ninja" concept and her unique distinction of having the most voice actors in the series due to Ayumu's frequent fantasies, contrasting with her canonical near-silence.
