Midori Tsukimiya

Midori Tsukimiya was a Japanese voice actress born on November 25, 1990, in Saitama Prefecture. Before her voice acting career, she was a member of the group 9nine under the name Midori Yamaoka before changing her stage name upon entering the voice acting industry. She was active in voice acting from 2011 to 2016 and was affiliated with the agency Production Ace.
Her debut role in 2011 was also her most prominent: Eucliwood Hellscythe in the television anime series Is This a Zombie?. This character was notable for speaking very little, and Tsukimiya's performance, which relied on expressive breathing and minimal dialogue, garnered attention when the character first spoke in the eleventh episode. In the same year, she also voiced Tsukuru Kagaku in the series R-15 and had minor roles in A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives.
In 2012, she reprised her role as Eucliwood Hellscythe in the sequel Is This a Zombie? of the Dead and voiced Yuka Iseda in the series Ebiten: Ebisugawa Public High School's Tenmonbu. From 2013 to 2015, Tsukimiya had a recurring role as Mii Fujibakama in the Date A Live franchise, appearing in its television anime series, games, and OVAs. Her other roles during this period included minor parts in The Student Council's Discretion Lv.2 and Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation-.
On July 1, 2016, Tsukimiya announced her retirement from the voice acting industry. She left her agency, Production Ace, and subsequently began working at a general company, handling clerical and computer-based tasks. Despite her retirement, she continued to reprise her role as Mii Fujibakama for subsequent installments of the Date A Live franchise, including its third and fourth seasons, which aired in 2019 and 2022 respectively.
