Mako Mizukoshi is a student in class 3-1 at Kazami Junior High School. Her surname, meaning "water" (水) and "surpass/cross over" (越), and given name, incorporating "truth/reality" (眞) and "child" (子), reflect her identity.
Within the *Da Capo* franchise, Mako appears in specific Side Episodes of the first anime season. She joins Nemu, Miharu, and Kotori for a session of scary stories and folk tales in Episode 8.
