Don George serves as the shared name and appearance for multiple individuals operating Pokémon Battle Clubs throughout Unova's cities. Each manages a facility providing battle spaces and technique improvement opportunities for trainers, distinguished only by variations in their collar colors—a naming and visual convention mirroring characters like Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy.
His first documented appearance occurred during a break-in at the Accumula Town Battle Club's storage. Security footage initially suggested an Umbreon was involved, intriguing the local Don George due to his interest in non-native Unova Pokémon. The intruder was later revealed to be Team Rocket's Meowth, leaving Don George expressing regret at missing the chance to observe this foreign Pokémon.
He plays a significant role organizing regional tournaments.
