Ivo Bastos is a Portuguese actor, voice actor, and announcer, born in Porto, Portugal, on December 6, 1977. His career spans theater, television, and film, but he is most widely recognized for his extensive work in dubbing, particularly for the European Portuguese versions of animated series and films.

Bastos has been a prominent figure in the Portuguese dubbing industry for many years, contributing his voice to a vast array of characters across numerous productions. He is closely associated with the Portuguese dubbing studio Cinemágica and has provided voices for projects distributed by other studios like Somnorte and Porto Editora.

He is perhaps best known for his long-standing and multifaceted involvement in the Pokémon anime franchise. Over many years and series, he has lent his voice to a multitude of characters in the European Portuguese dub. His roles within this universe are extensive and include providing the voice of the iconic Professor Oak in numerous series such as Pokémon: Black and White, Pokémon: Black and White: Rival Destinies, Pokémon the Series: XY, Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, and Pokémon Journeys: The Series. He also voiced Professor Oak in the film Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!.
