Description
Chizuru Minamoto appears as a voluptuous second-year high school student, concealing her true identity as a 400-year-old kitsune from a potent fox spirit lineage. Her human form features black hair, transforming into a blond kitsune state with fox ears, multiple tails, and enhanced physical attributes like larger breasts, granting increased strength and full supernatural powers.

She exhibits an obsessive, openly affectionate personality, relentlessly pursuing Kouta Oyamada for a "relationship of sin." Her yandere tendencies manifest as extreme jealousy towards females like the wolf spirit Nozomu Ezomori who approach Kouta. Deeply caring and protective of him, her expressions of affection often involve sexual advances or embarrassing public displays. She displays minor masochistic interests and initially struggles with cooking, later improving.

Her origins remain ambiguous, with no memories prior to adoption by the nine-tailed fox Tamamo, her foster mother. Her exact age is inconsistently reported, sometimes cited as 400 years but potentially older. She attends school to adapt to human society, later revealed as a correctional facility for yokai learning human coexistence.

Her kitsune physiology grants abilities including emitting blue fox-fire for combat and shapeshifting between forms at will. A significant power is fusion with Kouta through kissing; this merges their bodies temporarily, amplifying her abilities into a five-tailed state and requiring a strong emotional bond. This fusion inadvertently triggers Kouta's gradual transformation into a yokai, later linked to the Eight Dragons' power residing within Chizuru. She also possesses heightened senses, detecting Kouta's "scent of the forest."

Her relationship with Kouta evolves from one-sided pursuit to mutual devotion. She aids him in confronting his latent powers, recognized as the reincarnation of Susanoo and the Yamata no Orochi. Their bond culminates in a physical relationship and the birth of their daughter. She also forms familial ties with spirit hunters Ren and Ai Nanao, who abandon their mission to assassinate her, becoming her adoptive daughters drawn to her maternal nature.

Her rivalry with Nozomu results in recurring comedic or violent clashes, though they occasionally cooperate for Kouta. In later arcs, her focus shifts to safeguarding Kouta from external threats like the Eight Houses of Kuzunoha, marking her growth from possessive suitor to dedicated partner.
