Discovered in the Sweets Kingdom by Tiramisu after hurtling down inside the Clover Box on a shooting star, the infant fairy Chiffon bore a legendary omen: a malevolent force would hunt her to exploit her true identity as Infinity, an entity embodying limitless memory and god-like power. To shield her, Tiramisu repressed her abilities under the name Chiffon, raising her as an ordinary fairy baby.

Physically, Chiffon possesses pale yellow fur, large brown eyes, pink fluffy ears and tail, and a winged white collar with a bib. A distinct trébol mark on her forehead glows green when her powers activate, serving as the catalyst for the Pretty Cures' transformations and power enhancements. As Infinity, her eyes turn opaque and lifeless, wreathed in gray mist and a white aura, devoid of expression.

Her behavior mirrors a human infant: laughing when content, crying when distressed or ignored. Playful and cheerful, she often uses her telekinetic abilities—manifested as a green aura—for amusement, though sometimes causing accidents. Her mood shifts rapidly if neglected, and she reacts intensely to fear or danger with tears. Exposure to the four Pickruns (Pirun, Kirun, Burun, Akarun) accelerates her development, enabling her to consume human food, speak basic words, change clothes, and strengthen her powers. Conversely, her Infinity form exhibits no personality; motionless, silent, and emotionally vacant, it speaks only the monotone declaration: "I am Infinity, the unlimited memory."

Residing in the human world, she is cared for by Tarte, acting as a protective older brother, and the four Pretty Cures—Love, Miki, Inori, and Setsuna. She notably uses Inori's real name, unlike others' nicknames. Chiffon activates her telekinesis by pressing her ears together and vocalizing "Kyua Kyua Puri-pu," facilitating the Cures' transformations and weapon upgrades like Cure Peach's Peach Rod. The antagonistic organization Labyrinth relentlessly pursues her Infinity power for multiversal conquest.

The series climax revealed the Life Gauge used by Labyrinth functioned as Infinity's seal. When the gauge filled, Chiffon transformed into Infinity and was abducted by Moebius. Controlled by Labyrinth, she nearly enabled global destruction. The combined efforts of the Pretty Cures, liberated Labyrinth citizens, and allies Tarte and Azukina generated the "Heart of Love Fresh" attack. This surge of collective emotion broke Moebius' control, reverting her to infancy. Post-series, she returned to the Sweets Kingdom but periodically visits the human world with Tarte. Subsequent novels depict her increased speech, ending sentences with "-puri."
