Dedicated to this cause, he allies with fellow powerful curses—Hanami, Dagon, and Mahito—to eradicate humanity and shield cursed spirits, actively opposing jujutsu sorcerers. He holds profound reverence for Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, considering him the ultimate ideal. Jogo relentlessly hunts Sukuna's fingers to restore his power and recruit him. During the Shibuya Incident, Jogo proves pivotal. He spearheads the scheme to seal Satoru Gojo, confronting him directly and ultimately succeeding in trapping him with the Prison Realm, though the battle costs Jogo multiple limbs and eyes. Later in Shibuya, after Yuji Itadori consumes several fingers, Jogo encounters Sukuna. Hopeful, he offers Sukuna ten fingers and implores his aid against humanity. Sukuna scorns Jogo's ambitions, engaging him solely for sport. Jogo unleashes his full might, including his Domain Expansion, but is effortlessly overpowered and savagely defeated.
