Movie
Description
Astraea is a First Generation Angeloid designated Type Delta, engineered specifically for close combat. Originating from Synapse, she initially served its Master before undergoing significant shifts in allegiance and personal growth.

Physically, Astraea stands 159 cm tall and weighs 48 kg, with measurements of 91-56-86 cm and a voluptuous build. She possesses ankle-length blonde hair, red eyes, and wears standard blue Angeloid garments. Her white and blue wings are optimized for hyper-acceleration, granting exceptional speed in flight and combat despite lacking variable functionality.

Her personality is marked by extremely low intellectual capacity, leading to frequent descriptions of idiocy and struggles with basic tasks like obtaining food – resulting in constant starvation and incidents such as burying herself for nutrients or eating fish bait. However, she exhibits high emotional intelligence and expressive behavior. She forms deep attachments, developing romantic feelings for Tomoki Sakurai and viewing Chaos as a younger sister, making her one of the most emotive Angeloids of her generation.

In combat, Astraea specializes in close-quarters engagements. Her primary weapon is the "Super Vibrating Photon Blade" Chrysaor, capable of penetrating defenses like Ikaros's Aegis shield. Defense is provided by the Aegis-L Shield, offering superior frontal protection but with limited coverage and duration. Her Acceleration-Type Wings enable high-speed evasion and maneuvering. This focus leaves her vulnerable to long-range assaults. Synapse engineer Daedalus confirms her design intentionally sacrificed processing power for enhanced combat prowess and emotional capacity, explaining her intellectual deficiencies.

Astraea first appears in the Forte Arc, deployed to eliminate Tomoki Sakurai and retrieve rogue Angeloids Ikaros and Nymph. Initial assassination attempts fail due to clumsiness and distractibility. She eventually integrates into Tomoki's household, participating in daily activities and comedic misadventures, often becoming a target of his pranks.

Her character evolves significantly during the Chaos Arc. Ordered to kill Nymph, Astraea defies the Master of Synapse, severing her control chain to protect her companions. She later engages Chaos in combat, utilizing her speed and shield to withstand attacks. Daedalus reveals her design prioritizes raw combat power over strategy, making her uniquely suited for close combat despite perceived weaknesses. Though initially overpowered by Chaos's long-range capabilities, Astraea's determination to protect her "sister" underscores her emotional growth.

Later, Astraea experiences depression after losing her weapon and shield but is encouraged by Tomoki to redefine her self-worth. She resolves to rescue Chaos, further solidifying her autonomy and emotional bonds. Her relationship with Tomoki transitions from adversarial to loyal, and Mikako Satsukitane becomes her official master following her defection from Synapse.

In the film *The Angeloid of Clockwork*, Astraea supports Tomoki and other Angeloids during the conflict involving Hiyori Kazane, assisting in confronting Hiyori after her transformation into an antagonistic Angeloid.
