Before becoming a prominent voice artist, Dietrich established herself on stage, performing in musical productions such as Mamma Mia! and The Black Rider, and also appeared in German television shows and films.

In the realm of anime voice acting, Kerstin Dietrich has lent her voice to a variety of characters across different series. She is the German voice of Laura Hardry in the fantasy anime Record of Grancrest War. She also voiced Tamara Volkova in the darker magical girl series Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka. Her film work includes providing the German voice for the iconic Pokémon Mew in the movie Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution.
