Description
Ren Elsie Jewelria, a royal heir from the planet Memorze, wields the evolutionary ability to shift genders through sneezing—a trait shared with their female counterpart, Run Elsie Jewelria, who coexists within the same body. Originally alternating control over their shared form, the two personalities maintained separate emotions and perspectives. Ren’s striking appearance combines light blue or white gradient hair fading to black, hot pink eyes, and a 168cm stature.

Bound by childhood memories to Lala Satalin Deviluke, Ren’s enduring affection stems from their playful days on Deviluke, overshadowed by Lala’s chaotic experiments. A defining promise from their youth—Lala’s offhand vow to marry Ren if he matured into “a real man”—fuels his persistent quest to validate his masculinity, despite her forgotten pledge. His rivalry with Rito Yuuki sparks a series of comically botched attempts to outshine him, until an accidental kiss between Ren and Rito triggers Run’s romantic interest in their rival, deepening Ren’s resolve to surpass him.

Upon reaching biological maturity, Ren and Run permanently split into separate entities, losing their transformative ability. Post-separation, Ren adopts a composed demeanor, appearing less frequently while maintaining quiet admiration for Lala. Though he halts overt competition with Rito, he offers measured advice, urging him to protect Lala and Run from heartache—a nod to reluctant acceptance of their dynamic.

Stubborn yet endearingly naive, Ren’s earlier endeavors to impress Lala spiral into exaggerated displays of bravado, blending determination with comedic missteps. Despite his growth into a steadier role, traces of rivalry linger beneath his mature exterior. His relationship with Run evolves into a twin dynamic marked by protective gestures, though their interactions remain largely unexplored.

Spin-off media and OVAs leverage Ren’s gender-swapping for situational comedy, depicting unintended mid-performance transformations or awkward scenarios—playful reminders of the duo’s entangled past, even after their physical separation.
