Description
Saito Hiraga, a Tokyo high school student, is thrust into Halkeginia’s magical realm after a portal whisks him from his mundane life while repairing his laptop. Summoned as a familiar by Louise de la Vallière during Tristain Academy’s ritual, their bond is sealed by a kiss that brands his left hand with Gandálfr runes, designating him "God’s Left Hand." This legendary role grants instant mastery of all functional weaponry—from WWII Zero fighters to modern firearms—and heightened combat reflexes, though powerless over decorative items.

Initially clashing with Louise over her abrasive demeanor and skepticism of his origins, their turbulent dynamic gradually softens into mutual reliance and romance. Pivotal moments include his Gandálfr awakening during a duel recovery aided by Louise and their joint retrieval of the Staff of Destruction. His unwavering loyalty drives him to shield her in military conflicts, notably stalling Albion’s 70,000-strong army single-handedly.

After fatal wounds strip his powers, Louise’s re-summoning restores them, earning him knighthood from Princess Henrietta and a vice-captaincy in the Ondine Knights. Contracting with Tiffania Westwood, a fellow Void mage, transforms him into Lífþrasir ("God’s Heart"), enabling Void magic amplification at life-threatening cost—nearly fulfilled during an Ancient Dragon clash. Surviving, he weds Louise, later bridging worlds via Void magic to reunite with his Tokyo family.

Curious and adaptable, Saito balances protective ferocity with steadfast loyalty, prioritizing Louise despite frequent squabbles. His inadvertent charm draws affections from Siesta, a maid of Japanese descent, and the bold mage Kirche von Zerbst, though his devotion to Louise remains unshaken. The sentient sword Derflinger, an ancient artifact tied to the original Gandálfr, aids him with tactical insight and levity.

Black-haired and blue-eyed, Saito’s casual attire—a blue jacket, white shirt, jeans, and sneakers—belies his heroic stature in Halkeginia, where tactical ingenuity compensates for magical lack. His journey culminates in marriage to Louise and exploration of their united worlds, embodying the fusion of ordinary origins and extraordinary destiny.
