Ryō Hibiki, born on September 22, 2013, in Chiba, stands 177 cm tall and weighs 65 kg. At sixteen years old during the main events, he has black hair and blue eyes, and works as an apprentice Japanese language teacher at CySonic Academy.

He joins the Borgman Project with aspirations of becoming an astronaut, but the initiative is aborted after a demon attack. Instead, Ryō becomes a cyborg warrior equipped with a blue Baltector suit designed for speed and close combat. He wields a Battle Machine Gun and rides a self-aware artificial intelligence motorcycle known as Road Thunder or Super Thunder, which functions as both his transportation and a specialized weapon.

Passionate and driven by a strong sense of justice, Ryō has a deep affinity for motorcycles. He shares a close friendship with Chuck Sweager, forged during their time as trainees, and their teamwork proves highly effective. His relationship with Anise Pharm develops into a significant romantic involvement that becomes central to later storylines.

After the conclusion of the main series in 2030, a subsequent story set three years later shows Ryō working as an engineer for NASA in the United States on a large rocket project, realizing his dream of contributing to space exploration. During this period, his relationship with Anise becomes strained due to distance and her career frustrations.

A later narrative set in 2058 reveals that Ryō is no longer an active Borgman. By this time, Chuck Sweager has taken a leadership role at the Katsura Research Institute, overseeing a new generation of warriors. Ryō's specific activities in 2058 are not detailed.

He and Chuck are the sole survivors of the original Borgman Project. Ryō undergoes a significant emotional crisis following the death of Memory Gene, a key supporting character and creator of the Borgman system, an event explored in a dedicated story.
