Description
Anice Farm is a member of the Borgman Team and works as a teacher at Sonic Elementary School, where she instructs music and mathematics. Originally an aspiring American singer, her life changed during a tour in Japan when a demon attack inflicted mortal wounds. Emergency implantation of the Borgman cyborg system saved her, though the procedure was not intended for her, resulting in combat capabilities inferior to her teammates. Earlier tragedy also marked her past: she was the sole survivor of a bus crash that killed all her students, an event that indirectly led to her involuntary transformation into a cyborg.
Anice has neck-length brown hair and brown eyes. In later appearances, she adopts a ponytail hairstyle. Her typical attire includes a blue sleeveless vest over a pink turtleneck buttoned shirt, white short sleeves with yellow arm-sleeves, a waist belt, a black office skirt, yellow thigh-high socks, and brown boots. In combat, she utilizes a battlesuit named Balector or Baltector, which features translucent components in the visor and chest armor. The suit enhances her senses and specializes in electronic warfare. Her primary weapon is the Battle Saucer, and to compensate for her lower physical strength, she frequently pilots the combat robot Gun Warrior or borrows vehicles such as Chuck Sweager’s buggy.
Personality-wise, Anice is exceptionally kind and approachable but becomes formidable when angered. She harbors romantic feelings for her teammate Ryo Hibiki, and their relationship deepens over time, eventually becoming an official couple. She participates in missions against the GIL Crime Organization and, three years later at age nineteen, actively serves as a combatant and as Ryo’s emotional anchor after significant team losses. Anice is the daughter of a major restaurant chain owner; her parents and brother live in Los Angeles. Following the events of the television series, she moves to the United States with Ryo, operating a cafe stand near the space center where he works. After a disagreement, she temporarily returns to Megalo City, becomes involved with a high-tech project called Heaven’s Gate, and ultimately reconciles with Ryo, cementing their romantic bond.
