TV-Series
Description
Prince Lumen rules Arachna and commands the Spider Riders. He has short, dirty blonde hair with a light orange tint and longer bangs, paired with striking violet-lilac eyes. His height is noticeably shorter than fellow Spider Riders. He wears royal attire as a civilian and dons Spider Rider armor resembling a royal knight's, wielding a traditional-style sword sometimes called a chain sword.

Diplomatic and thoughtful, Lumen prefers negotiation over conflict with enemies like the Invectids. This stems partly from caution regarding the destructive power of his spider partner, Ebony, whose strength he restrains. Despite his leadership, he occasionally displays laziness and a flirtatious manner towards women. His defining devotion is to his younger sister, Sparkle, often leading him to claim credit for Hunter Steele's accomplishments to gain her admiration.

His childhood included playing games like "Hide and Go Seek" with Lady Noia during her palace visits. Becoming prince at a young age, he has known Ebony for years; the spider rarely speaks, offering counsel only in critical moments. Lumen orchestrated Hunter's initiation test, enlisting Igneous to provoke a duel to evaluate the newcomer.

Key events include Beerain of the Invectids impersonating Lady Noia to steal the Oracle Key. Deceived and lovesick, Lumen initially aided her before the deception was revealed. He pursued Beerain, missing the real Noia's arrival. During the Nuuma crisis, he opposed sending Spider Riders to aid the distant kingdom, fearing for Arachna's safety, but relented after former commander Slate returned. En route to Nuuma, he reunited with Sparkle and witnessed former Invectid Grasshop protect her – an act altering his view on potential alliances.

In battle, Lumen competently defended Nuuma's Queen Illuma and joined Quake infiltrating Invectid territory. He advocated for negotiations with Buguese, which failed, and supported Hunter's plan to confront Mantid directly. During the final conflict, he witnessed Aqune's liberation from mind control and the Spirit Oracle's intervention against Mantid.

His relationships are central: Ebony is a trusted advisor; Sparkle remains his emotional anchor; his friendships include Igneous and Hunter. His sociable royal demeanor facilitates forming connections.
