Agito Makishima is an 18-year-old of medium build, standing 173 cm tall and weighing 66 kg, with black hair, brown eyes, and a mature bearing. His life was marked by tragedy: after his uncle Genzo Makishima bankrupted the family company, Max Pharmaceuticals, Agito’s parents committed suicide. Genzo adopted Agito but treated him only as an employee. When Chronos absorbed Max Pharmaceuticals, Agito used his position as a management trainee to access Chronos’s secrets while secretly planning revenge against Genzo and, ultimately, to usurp Chronos itself. He masterminded the theft of three Guyver Units, securing and activating the third for himself to become Guyver III. As Guyver III, his physique swells to 202 cm and 372 kg, and his armor is visually distinct with darker, more menacing black chitinous plates, additional spikes, and double-bladed forearm vibrational swords. He possesses standard Guyver abilities including enhanced strength, speed, regeneration, a head laser, sensor orbs, the Gravity Control Orb, and the Mega-Smasher chest beam. Agito operates as a strategic and ruthless anti-hero, viewing allies like Sho Fukamachi (Guyver I) as pawns and prioritizing his goals over sentiment. After Chronos’s worldwide takeover, he formed and led the resistance group Zeus’ Thunderbolts, modeling his plan after the Greek myth of Zeus overthrowing Cronus. Emotionally detached and calculating, he treats relationships as transactional tools, driven by a desire never to be powerless again.
