Description
In the anime *Street Fighter II: Yomigaeru Fujiwara-kyō - Toki o Kaketa Fighter-tachi*, Edmond Honda plays a key role. He summons fellow fighters Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li to demonstrate his newest sumo technique. During this gathering, a cataclysmic space-time storm violently hurls the group back 1,300 years into the past, stranding them in Japan's ancient capital, Fujiwara-kyō. Honda is separated from the others in the chaotic displacement.
His personality showcases his well-known traits: honor, friendliness, and profound pride in Japanese traditions, especially sumo wrestling. While the anime centers on the group's journey through historical Fujiwara-kyō rather than combat, Honda's presence highlights his bond with Japan's heritage. He eventually reunites with his companions and together they secure passage back to their own time.
