Description
Lena, a childhood friend of Sara and Tiara, shares their Guardian World origins as a protector of magical forces. She maintains a calm, reserved elegance, often viewed as a Proper Lady due to her poise and modest civilian attire. Despite her composure, she harbors deep feelings of inferiority toward Tiara's superior magical abilities, though she remains a formidable combatant.
Initially sent to retrieve the stolen Throne of Yord and capture Kagetsu, Lena defects to aid him upon learning his motive: rescuing his sister Sara from the Throne. This aligns with her loyalty to Sara and positions her as a temporary antagonist to Tiara. Their confrontations stem from Lena's outrage at Tiara's perceived indifference toward Sara's plight and Kagetsu's safety. She possesses a Berserk Button when believing loved ones face betrayal or abandonment.
Her magic centers on a flute, enabling long-range attacks, spectral entity summoning, and manipulation of plant-like substances. With the Throne of Yord's support, she accesses a Super Mode transformation, gaining enhanced combat capabilities, a demonic appearance featuring Facial Markings and a revealing outfit, and vulnerability to the Throne's possession—manipulating her into battling Tiara.
Relationships define her development. She holds unrequited love for Kagetsu, confessing it in a monologue but never acting, aware of his enduring affection for Tiara. She shares a close, protective bond with her summoned partner Leon, whose loyal Bodyguard Crush persists despite risks. Her dynamic with Tiara evolves from bitter rivalry—fueled by conflicting loyalties and mutual envy—to a reluctant alliance when both are ensnared by the Throne, culminating in a collaborative Fusion Dance to subdue it.
In earlier events (depicted later), Lena visits Tiara during a punitive confinement, introduces Leon as her new partner, and entrusts Sara's care to Tiara, revealing their underlying friendship. After neutralizing the Throne's threat, she returns to the Guardian World alongside Tiara, Kagetsu, and Leon, restoring their bonds.
