Description
Ellis is an artificial human created by the secretive Project Leviathan, which aimed to revive supernatural beings using "Witch DNA." She and subject L.A. were the project's sole survivors. Ellis possessed the potential for "Maxwell's Demon," a power allowing conscious control over molecular movement to heat or freeze objects at will. Project director Douglas Rosenberg assigned her to Dr. Heinrich "Heinz" Schneider for study and development.
Initially, Ellis exhibited minimal control over her powers; they surfaced primarily from fear during Schneider's tests. As Schneider grew suspicious of Rosenberg, he planned to flee with Ellis.
