OVA
Description
Shoryu serves as a ninja of the Fūma clan alongside Kojiro and Ryoma, fighting in the clan war against the rival Yasha clan on behalf of Hakuo Academy and Seishikan. Following the Fūma's victory over the Yasha, Shoryu returns with other survivors – Kojiro, Ryoma, Ryuho, and Kirikaze – to their hidden village.
Chaos then attacks the Fūma village seeking the legendary Sacred Swords. Shoryu survives the initial explosion that kills the clan leader and devastates the settlement. The surviving Fūma members subsequently scatter.
During the ensuing Sacred Sword War, Shoryu's active involvement diminishes significantly. He, along with Ryuho and Kirikaze, is sidelined as the narrative shifts focus primarily to Kojiro, Ryoma, and their new allies. Shoryu appears only sporadically, mainly in scenes depicting the surviving Fūma regrouping or discussing their situation, and does not meaningfully engage in the new battles against the Chaos Warriors. His character receives no further development or expanded backstory within this conflict.
In later manga continuations, Shoryu is listed among the "Old Fūma Clan" members, confirming his continued association with the clan in extended lore. However, no official media – including the original manga, OVAs, or live-action adaptations – provides any additional details about his background, personal history, or character development.
